John Petrucci...guitarist from Dream Theater
Cliff Burton (Metallica's bassist on Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets), Rest in Peace :(
I think I love you haha holy freakin crap he is a goddd.. ahh.. his death is the only reason Metallica went the way it did..
I personally enjoy all of Metallica's work except for St. Anger but I agree that they definitely weren't the same after he died :(
I don't think Metallica ever "sold out" (and I personally love The Black Album, after AJFA and MOP it's my third favorite Metallica album), but they definitely lack the energy and passion they had all those years ago, and if you go on YouTube and watch videos of recent performances they've given, they're just not what they used to be and they don't even seem to enjoy playing that much anymore. They may have went much more mainstream with The Black Album but at least they still had the passion and still made quality music, Load and Reload were decent but St. Anger was just awful. Hopefully the next album will be much better and on par with the first five albums.
To Live Is To Die always makes me cry, hands down one of the saddest songs ever :(
The Black Album has a lot of cool songs on it, not just the singles. The Struggle Within, Of Wolf And Man, Through The Never and Holier Than Thou are awesome and up there with any of the thrash-era material. But AJFA will always be my favorite, so much raw intensity and anger in that album. My favorite song of their's is Disposable Heroes but they have so many gems. I definitely miss the old Metallica from the Kill 'Em All through Black Album era.

Freddie Mercury is easily my favourite musician ever. My mum has always liked Queen, and I was pretty much brought up listening to them. I started really appreciating their music when I was about 13, and Freddie's voice just blows me away every time.

Do I have to say it?
Geddy Lee. He plays bass, hits floor pedals(live, anyways), and plays synth. While singing. He sings while playing stuff a lot of bass players can't even do normally(I think "circumstances" is a good example)
and lately I've been impressed by Cliff Burton, after hearing "Anesthesia(Pulling Teeth)". There was probably nothing left of his bass after playing that song.

I don't have a favorite musican. Is it bad??
But I enjoy the work that they've done every single day!!!!!:D :D (Especially Rammstein and Manowar) ^^
