Fall Out Boy - From Under The Cork Tree

I saw an ad for that once. I had to do a double-take; I thought it said "From Under The Cock Tree"
Sorry, it just reminded me.

Mine would have to be..this might be hard(one album per band, though)
1. Superunknown/Down On The Upside - Soundgarden(tough pick)
2. Moving Pictures - Rush
3. Rage Against The Machine(self titled)
4. Out of Exile - Audioslave
5. Reign in Blood - Slayer
And, what I've heard of Lateralus(by Tool) is awesome.
This might change sometime, though.

The slightly odd vocals and guitars are pretty similar in some songs. I like all of those songs but if you really liked them and want some good songs or cd's Download the cd "Theres Nothing Wrong With Love" or "Keep It Like A Secret". Or if you just want specific songs i could give you a list of amazing stuff they have made.

All good stuff. if you like JDilla's production you might like Madlib. He made a Cd with MF DOOM who is the MC on Dangerdoom. MF DOOM also has a slew of solo albums under different aliases. And if you like The Roots you would love early Mos Def and Talib Kweli who as of now have pretty much lost focus on all that is underground hip hop. Aesop Rock, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Aceyalone, Wu-Tang Clan(Who isnt underground rap considering the have three albums that have sold millions upon millions, but for some reason have gone un noticed as of late.)Kool Keith and Ultramagnetic MCs, The whole Hieroglyphics crew. Yea, who ever makes adult swim has a great taste in music. Almost every beat that plays over the black screen is from a great song. They must be friends with producer/rapper El-P because most of their music is off the definitive jux label that he runs. every so often the put out a promo called definitive swim with new songs on it supported by adult swim. So if you like the beats on adult swim look for anything produced by El-P. Cannibal Ox is a good place to start but thats probably a little weird in the lyrical department for most people but its very inovative and Wu-Tang-esque. The Cold Vein could easily make my top 5 albums list.

Just saying that they need to appreciate where their music comes from. I've never even listened to any MCR music, just know that the word around town is that they were influenced by them.

And Jigsaw Acolyte that is so awesome! You're my fucking hero for doing that. I actually watched The Wall again tonight.

So ya thought ya might like to go to the show. To feel the warm thrill of confusion, that space cadet glow. I've got some bad news for you sunshine, Pink isn't well, he's back at the hotel. And they sit us along as a surrogate band. We're going to find out where you fans really stand! Are there any queers in the audience tonight? GET HIM UP AGAINST THE WALL!

Against. The. Wall.

There's one in the spotlight, he don't look right. GET HIM UP AGAINST THE WALL!

hahha, it seems white people are keeping the original hip-hop alive though so anyone talking about this type of music is going to sound white lol. But i know what you mean, Simple beats are where its at. i have respect for anyone who can come up with beats out of nothing like the Rza of Wu-Tang Clan and MF DOOM. My friends brother makes beats for this kid who makes off-beat white gangsta rap beats for this kid. he has a myspace, just search rucka rucka ali. to be honest the lyrics run quite thin after a while and completely dont make any sense if you dont know the kids who made it and dont get the inside jokes. Any way, his kid makes amazing beats out of nothing. Just a keyboard, guitar, and random things around the house. rarely smaples anything and never remixes previously made beats, as most producers do today.

Thats so freakin' cool. I always loved making beats out of weird crap or just like, banging on a table or something.

I think what I really like is when they get the're sounds from acutally instruments and not just a computer and a drum machine. If you play an instrument or just know alot about music, you can hear the difference....perfect example the roots.

Aesop Rock just put out a new video called "Coffee" the song is the best. I extracted the song from the video :)
