I mean, come on! It's going to be hilarious! I'll admit, the theatrical trailer sucked, but the TV spots look like gold! I was laughing my ass off when watching them! They're 100x better than the theatrical trailer, that's for sure! I had no idea whatsoever that Anthony Anderson was back! And Leslie Nielson looked so hilarious when he was giving that speech and he accidently clicked a button on this remote which put him in the nude and everyone gagged. LMFAO! And did anyone catch that old lady that Anthony Anderson hits in the previews? YES! IT'S THE SAME OLD LADY HE PUNCHED IN SCARY MOVIE 3! LMFAO! Good twist, I might add! Oh, man, April 14 will be the best day ever!

I never found any of the Scary Movie movies to be that funny. The only reason why I want to see the 4th one is because they make fun of Tom Cruise. That was the greatest part of the whole trailer.

I just got back from watching it.

The dialog was done REALLY well, i dont expect many on this board to realise how well it was done, or even get most of the dialog jokes, as most on here are kids, but there is a lot of fall down humor as well for the ones who dont get the dialog.

they do really well with saw. the vilage, and war of the worlds, but not that many jokes (well good ones) with the grudge except the subtitle scene, but the grudge is used well to tie it all together.

its a really short movie though, only 75 min not counting credits.

I love the Scary Movie series, and so I don't give two shits whether others do. I think that the material they're using for the fourth installement is genious. Especially since they're taking TWO stabs at Tom Cruise; his film and himself. I'm seeing it tomorrow and I'm nothing short of psyched.

I just saw it, and it really was a letdown. It was too short, and it really just wasn't very funny. The only part I really laughed at was when Brenda was on the tv with Billy. Actually Brenda and Cindy were the only funny characters in the movie. The rest were just obnoxious.

I'd give it a 6/10, and that's being generous. I was disappointed because I really wanted to like this movie. Oh well. :( The third one is still the best.

i think the scary movie series gets worse with everyone that comes out... the first being the best and the forth being the worst.... there were some funny scenes(the SAW ones were quite funny like when they came out on the bikes) but the length of the movie and the fact that they were trying to force laughs out (like pple getting hit in the head 25 million times throughout the movie) annoyed me

4/10 for me

The only thing I'm starting to dislike about the SM films are how some of the films they spoof are just NOT SCARY. Like SM3 they did 8 Mile. And this time their doing War of the Worlds which pisses me off because they did aliens in the last flipping film. I totally miss the wayans brothers :(

Anyway...Ill prolly laugh more at this one when I see again...

The only part I really laughed at is when those two dudes argued about if you could "Turn Up Missing"...and me and my friend were the only ones really laughing cause those arguments were like our fav part of the 3rd one("You cant go to bed dead")...

There were some funny parts...that was just the only part I really laughed at...and the way people just kept getting hit by stuff or being throw really far was really annoying and really wasnt funny...

I liked this one better then 3, although the last part with oprah was pretty lame, bu other then that it was good. 1 and 2 are still the best though

there were a LOT of good vocal jokes with play on words and such that were well written.

i Guess im the only one who caught them, its not easy to catch, and its really hard to write good dialog, thats what is holding me back on my movie scripts is proper dialog

the beginning with the priest spoofing exorcist... when he sits on the toilet and u dont know until the very end of the scene and he goes "lord help me to REALEASE THIS DEMOOOOOOOON" omg thats the best part in the movie

the fight between hanson(the housekeeper) and the guy in the wheelchair(forgot his name) when theyre makin funna each other for being handicapped lol

When they have the "walkie talkies" made outta cups and string... and ray comes out and keeps goin roger... and then cindy picks it up and goes "im here, im here" and Ray goes "NO I WANNA TALK TA ROGER!"

and then when the clown from "IT" tries to rape Ray and he comes from behind him and goes "UNCLE RAY RAYS GOTTA GAME"

i agree with u tho... this was definetly not better than either of the first 2... the third was really bad in my opinion and i liked this one a bit more than that...

also... i agree(i brought this up in one of the other threads) that people getting hit in the head was just trying to force laughter and really got very old... there were a few great scenes in the movie tho... the billy scene towards the end, the michael jackson scene, the viagra scene, the subtitle scene, and the "turning up missing" scene lol.... a few other things were funny like the kid fallin down the stairs and when she cleans the old lady but this movie was just tooo short and did not measure up to the first two scary movies...

I guess I'm the only one that didn't really like the first 2... To me, it just seemed like (and maybe I'll offend someone by saying this) they just came off as the stereotypical black movie. Just an overabundance of drugs, sex, and white jokes (but then I wouldn't expect anything less from the Wayans Bros. either...). ha it was funny when cindy got hit with the baseball and was like "Ive taken alot of balls to the face before" and then later got hit with the football and was like "dont worry my throat cushioned the blow"...lol it took a minute for me to get it.

I went to see it on Sunday, I thought most of it was hilarious.

Ther parts spoofing War of the Worlds [which was most of it] weren't so brilliant, but I thought the majority was well funny.

My faveourite parts, were obviously the start where he cut's of the wrong leg.
Then the end, with Tom Cruise doing backflips across the room and eating Opera's sofa cushion was so funny.
Also, my favourite part from the whole movie, was the part where its like..

I thought it kicked ass. I loved how when Cindy and Toshio were talking they weren't even speaking real Japanese, just random words like "sushi". And I tried so hard not to laugh in the cinema when Cindy was telling Tom about how she looked after the woman, and she was doing these really disturbing hand gestures, and he was mesmerised by her. It rocks, and I'll definetly buy it.

It would have been much better if most of the movie wasn't people getting hit. Some really funny scenes though, I love when Shaq wakes up in the bathtub and it turns out he's just leaning over the edge.
