Most likely fake.

But if it were real, it would be a good way to actually bring the series full circle if she were the main protagonist of the finale.

Really, Guys.

IMDB will never be reliable until the final, confirmed cast has been made public.

I find it funny with all the executives that watch the edited content on Wikipedia as thoroughly as a horny man watching porn that no one trusts it. I've seen false information put on Wikipedia that was removed within five seconds of it being put up.

Not sure about IMDB but I seldom use that site anyway

And yet would have guaranteed the safety of her daughter, and she very well could have found him because she was on the phone with him. She shoots Zep, says we're safe, goes to the cops, calls Lawrence back, and they do a trace.

But you could live with the fact that by not shooting him you possibly condemned your husband?

I still remember seeing Saw opening night and having every single person in the sold-out crowd yelling, "Shoot him!" at the same moment. I can never watch that scene without thinking about it.

But you could live with the fact that by not shooting him you possibly condemned your husband? Elaborate on this one. She is now the one with the gun (and the phone), she has the upper hand here. Anything considered a patronizing act by Zep would probably make her rather trigger-happy, not exactly the other way around. Unfortunately, went in when she turned her head. Not the smartest move by her (or Diana), but I would be stating some demands there. I could see posing a threat to him by shooting next to him or at his foot, but I'm not going to shoot to kill, not instinctively or without merit.

I still remember seeing Saw opening night and having every single person in the sold-out crowd yelling, "Shoot him!" at the same moment. I can never watch that scene without thinking about it.Same. Every person I show the movie to, they say that. It enthralls me at the same time that it invigorates me, because while I love how into the movie they are, I still feel that she simply can't shoot him. I would not put my husband (lol) at risk like that, nor could I live with letting my daughter see that kind of violence, especially from her own parent. Imagine how traumatizing that would be.

But you could live with the fact that by not shooting him you possibly condemned your husband? That isn't true and was always something I disliked about the original. She could have shot Zepp in both knees and feet, which would have rendered him unable to get away. Then when Danny Glover came bursting it, he would have gotten the situation under control. The police would have been called, they would have came in and seen the TV equipment, arrested him. Tapp would have been put back on the force and John would have been like, "Oh Damn"

"Zepp, you idiot!"

That's good thinking. That way everyone would pretty much live......
.....except for Sing lol

But how would the cops find the bathroom?
Gordon and Adam both didn't know where they were so they
couldn't just tell Alison over the phone what their location was.

Maybe the cops could track down the call?

I think they could triangulate the signal and find the coordinates of where the phone signal is coming from....

Alright, that works.
That's pretty much what I was thinking. It's still not that simple, man. I mean, Alison literally has no idea where he is (not location-wise, but scenery-wise) nor does she know what kind of trouble he's in. Maybe it's a situation where if the hitman (Zep) is killed, Lawrence will die by the hand of somebody else right next to him. She doesn't know what threats ensue by her killing Zep, and I don't think she wanted to find out. Maybe Zep had vital information where only one thing could save him, like a key to stop something from killing him, etc... something that the cops could not do.

Never kill a lead, ever. Threaten him, hammer him, and break him... but don't kill him.

EDIT: Plus, "triangulating" isn't always so easy or quick depending on the technology, especially if they had to go to her for it and move all of the equipment there to trace the call. Or maybe they could be using a cloned cell phone, or something that leads them to the wrong address ala Saw II. I'm not saying that Alison should have thought of all of these things during that split second, but even when I watched the movie the first time I was thinking, "Oh crap, she's going to kill Zep and never be able to find Lawrence!"

Well, if it were me, I would have probably shot him in his right shoulder.
I have pretty good aim and that most likely wouldn't kill him. He'd be
afraid and would back away even further when I'd tell him to.
I'd tell Gordon I have everything under control and that I'd call him
back. Then, while still focusing on Zep, I'd call the cops.

Boom :)

If this is true, which it probably isn't, then this is probably how we'll find out the fate of Gordon, that would sadden me very much, I want Gordon himself to show us his own fate.Nah, he can still reveal it (and he could still be alive).

Just remember one thing, and this is important (and also why I have Lawrence "helping" John in my script): if it wasn't for the bathroom game, Lawrence and Alison would have been all but divorced. In the phone conversation between Lawrence and Alison (one of the more touching moments in the franchise in my opinion), they forgive each other and implicitly declare their love for one another. In a way, Lawrence "thanks" John for this opportunity of rebirth.

Here are some random bits in my script:

In the meeting between Lawrence and John when he reveals his cancer:

LAWRENCE (in disagreement)
I don’t think it’s fair for us to say who’s deserving to live in this world, John.

JOHN
Isn’t that what you do? Hmm? Am I not in here to learn of my fate by the way you formulate the diagnosis to me verbally?

LAWRENCE
If that’s the way that you want to put it, then I suppose that is what
I do. But this meeting happens one way or another; I can just as easily pass this information onto another fellow practitioner who can very easily relay the same diagnosis to the patient. No blood on my hands that way.

JOHN
I think you and I both know that there is always blood on our hands.

JOHN leans forward, inferring intimidation.

JOHN (continuing)
You can look at me with those diffident, insecure, soft gelatin eyes and you can tell me with plenary optimism that I will live to be one hundred, or one thousand, or for eternity. But at the end of the day, the truth always finds you. Now, I haven’t looked through that folder yet and I haven’t heard
your official prognosis on the matter, but I know that it is within your designed human nature to speak to me with sincerity so I can leave this hospital with a little more than just the bearing of bad news.

LAWRENCE
Now, let’s not jump to conclusions here. The frontal lobe tumor
breached the midline, but it has not just yet been officially declared as ’inoperable’. I would like you to come in routinely, free of charge, so we can examine the condition of...

JOHN (interrupting, standing up)
I don’t want your charity, and I see that you still fail to comprehend what I am saying. We’re all a little broken on the inside; you have your sins and now I have my cancer, but at least I will own up to mine. At least at the end of the day, when I know that there’s no way to circumvent my disease, I will stand with honor and say that I lived my life to the fullest that I could, and hope that others can follow in my manner.

LAWRENCE looks at JOHN with a slight sense of understanding, yet still somewhat confused.

JOHN
Someday you will find the broken piece within yourself, and it’s not
just going to remain inside of you. It will show on the outside, and you will come back to me when you realize that my approach to understanding life is more than just "practical".

(for the term "practical", you would have to read earlier in the scene)

In a conversation between them post-bathroom game (hard to set up the scene, but he is still in pain and John is speaking on the other side of a wall after Lawrence's realization of what his work meant for him).

JOHN
There it is, Doctor. You now see, your wounds will recover, and you can still continue to live... but you are an iconic symbol of life changing. You now hold the last piece of the puzzle, and in time it will be the most important thing that has happened in anyone’s life that understands my work.

And as I have it, Alison's only real appearance is when they reunite. Lawrence goes through a healing and rehabilitating process with a mechanical leg (definitely not unheard of, so it's not "unrealistic"), and their lives continue on.

I honestly don't see Saw VII as good without Dr. Gordon's family also returning. As I recall we were going to have Monica Potter back in Saw III as a witness for the Dr. Gordon/Adam/Zepp fiasco; but I'm glad she didn't return. It was scheduling conflicts, I believe.

Also, I heard that Danny Glover was meant to be Detective Fisk in the Seth Baxter flashback; meaning he was meant to discover Seth Baxter and bring Hoffman down to the crime scene. Would have been interesting. Damn scheduling conflicts...
