Suggest your Saw Characters

[The Trapmaster]

Since lots of people like to "Make your own traps" page, I decided to make a page where you could suggest characters!

Simply name your character, and put the name of the actor/actress you would like to see play them! This can be used just for fan traps, or if you wanted to see them in future Saw films.

Personally I hope we see more of the reporter who tried to ask about the FBI during the press conference. She was the only one who seemed to realise that, perhaps, there was more than met the eye about that whole thing. She could possibly be the one who uncovers the truth. I'd say the gal who played her would be fine (was pretty hot too I thought).

I'd also like to see them bring in someone like Amanda's sister - not in a major role, but maybe just somehow slightly as in being asked for insights about Amanda's behaviour etc.

Also please try and get David Jason in it somehow! He's the best actor ever and it would be great to put someone British in it :) I dunno maybe he could be a novelist or something who's writing about Jigsaw, or even a retired MI5 agent brought in as an advisor by the FBI or something because he has experience of investigating inside corruption etc.

Okay, I'll demonstrate with my first, so you guys can get the idea.


Name: Logan
Profession: Crime Scene Investigator
Reason Tested: Took bribes to tamper with evidence
Notes: Logan is cold and clinical person, who thinks only of himself. His work as a CSI has made him become distant from everyone close to him. Logan tampered with evidence to keep multiple criminals on the streets after receiving large bribes from their lawyers. He doesn't care, because these actions have done good for himself.

An athelete would be great; a steroid-taking runner, who runs just for the sake of running, collects his reward, and indulges in rampant hedonism between track meet thingys. His traps (Set up inside the house constructed on the one that burned down) would be things that test his ability to go slow, actually apply himself, think outside the box, and take others in to account for no reward other than help.

As we find out, he had actually disappeared about a month earlier after murdering a hated fellow runner in a fight during a fit of roid rage. The runner survives his tests, but Hoffman blackmails him into being his muscle and decoy with the promise of letting him off the hook with enough help.

Actually I used this character in a trap I wrote before Saw III, and it was a pendulum trap, and the guy was bound in place by his genitals, he had to remove his disease (D seize-Moore) spreader to get out of the trap.

Some from Lionsgate saw forums may remember it, I went by a different name though.

You can imagine my sheer joy at seeing how similar Seths trap was to mine.
I also wrote one involving 2 guys, were one guy had to get a key from the others lower intestine to get out of the trap. Only one entrance to it though.

Hey, I'm making my own "Saw" story too! Your characters seem really cool. My story has 6 trap victims, maybe I will post them here later.

[Deadwakening]

Two characters are in a room, tied to chairs that are facing eachother. The woman has a bag over her head, and cannot see the man. The man obviously cant get a look at the woman’s face either. Both characters have an electronic thing disguising their voices [hard to explain but it would make their voices sound the same, and would keep them from recognizing eachother]
The tape that the man has in his hand reveal that one must kill the other if they are unable to come up with any other solution. Between the chairs is a gun and in the pocket of both characters are bullets.
Other characters [in the traps] include a little girl who [as a tape explains] ‘means more to the group than they know’, a woman who recently lost a relative and is being ‘punished’ for shutting out the world and blaming everyone else for her loss, and several others [a prostitute, a gambler and 2 or 3 others]
The prostitute would most likely have a vagina-related trap. A large tube leading from her vaging to a glass jar filled to the brim with black widow spiders. *Shudders* It'd be a very uncomfortable trap to watch.
One last character would be a man who spent a lot of money on cigarettes, and while he hadn’t developed cancer, his girlfriend had, causing her death. His trap would be a tube leading down his throat, from a large box filled with-what else-hundreds of burning cigarettes and other things. The smoke causes the man to choke, and he must be released by a member of the group. Not so coincidentally however, the woman who lost a relative just so happens to be the smoker’s girlfriend’s sister.
At the end, the last 2 or 3 group members reach the 2 that are tied to the chairs just as the man shoots the woman and kills her. One of the group pulls the bag off her head, revealing her to be the man’s wife.

Wow, that’s more of an entire movie plot than just a few character descriptions, but oh well. Just thought I’d share. :D

An old guy, whose ready to die, actually appreciating his life and shedding lots of blood in order to save it. I really can't think of anyone off the top of my head. I think it'd be badass though.
