View Full Version : Who's tired of....

...The normal Saw "Fuck you" ending? Darren mentioned on the Saw 4 commentary that he wanted to have a ending where Rigg actually learned his lesson(with Eric still dying, but lets jump that for a second). Now, I think that would've been a fitting ending for a Saw film. I mean, Saw doesnt have the most happiest endings, but I know not THAT many people can fail their test. Even Amanda(and to a lower extent Eric) passed, then ended up dying in another test later on. Amanda mentioned in S3 that people dont change, but I find that wrong. They can and do change. For once I wanna see someone(who actually we care about) who can actually pass a test, dont you?

I know I'm probably going to be crucified for this, but... yes.

Not everyone who wins their game is expected to follow the legacy, right? I want to see a good, old-fashioned life reformed-- if only once, just to see things work the way John (claimed he) intended.

After Darren and Lyriq talked about the alternate ending, I was so angry that it hasn't been used or wasn't even entirely shot. It would've been much better.

So ... YES, I'm tired of the 'same endings' all the time. :(

Rigg should've known that door was rigged because that ice block Eric was on? No way in hell it would melt in 90 minutes. 3-4 hours at the most. But I dont blame him, seeing he panicked(like I probably would've done in that spot)

Maybe that will be the ending to Saw VI. An ending where someone wins and goes on with their lives

Eric passed? His game was to sit and talk with John, and he failed it by flipping out and beating him up.

But he did escape from the chains in the bathroom. Thus, making him win.

I guess it'd be nice if someone were to pass their test in a new Saw installment, but meh ... Things don't usually go that way in life as far as I'm concerned.

And Amanda's right, people don't change. They say they will, they try to, and sometimes they even succeed for awhile ... But they always go back to their old ways.

You can't really blame Rigg for failing his test... I don't XD

The ending in Saw IV fit Riggs character more IMO.

Hoffman should pass.
No.
No he shouldn't.

Anyway, I would love to see somebody actually live after passing.
I believe people can change.
I mean, the temptation is always there.. that never goes away.
But, you can build up enough strength not to surrcome to your demons.
Short answer: LET SOMEONE LIVE.

what if Amanda survived and now will eventually learn her lesson? :p

no seriously,
itīs a nice idea that someone should live. they should have done that with SAW4.
because we all expect the test subjects will die. itīs no shock if they do in the end.
BUT Hoffman should die. he doesnt deserve different. for all we can say, he lead Amanda to her death by writing that damn letter.

SAW has become quite unrealistic and tedious, so I don't mind more "**** you" endings coming along. I actually rather like them. They don't affect me much, but I really love those dark and bleak endings.

Just my opinion, of course.

I agree that some people should pass their test. I also agree that these people shouldn't die especially when they did pass their test.

But I don't agree about wanting a "happy" ending. That wouldn't fit to the Saw movies IMO.
Saw always needs the "fuck you"-ending, it is the classic mark of the movies since S1, and I hope that it will never change.

Was Strahm ever tested? If he was then he passed, I mean.. I'm sure he lived after being locked in the sick room and he didn't kill Rigg [Like he would have in the Alternate Ending] but he killed Jeff [I doubt he is the innocent man Jigsaw was talking about]

Meh, it's much more entertaining and dramatic to see them fail at the end.

ehmm.. don't get me bad.. but someone alredy pass his test, you remember Rex wife right??

but yes, I think Saw should have a happy ending.. but in V, and let VI be a different move, like, letting someone continue in V end, and a mention of him and how he pass all the suffering in VI, but not turning over him to kill him or making him an apprentice..

What exactly did he win though? His game was to sit with John and listen.

He failed John's test, but passed Amanda's by escaping the bathroom.

But was that the actual test? To escape from the chains in the bathroom? I always thought his test was only to sit with John and talk to him. And that was indeed no easy test for Eric, who was very impulsive and aggressive as we all know.

It would be something different, maybe in the last Saw they'll do this but of course the fans probably wont be happy.

People do change thats why john puts them through these near death experiences to see if they will truely fight to stay alive and later look back on there past life in a different view to correct any wrongs they do.

Eric failed his test miserably. I'm sure that amanda came up with the idea to test mathews (the talking with john test) to get back at him for setting him up. Thus using Daniel as leverage that she knew would cause him to snap, and fail his test.

Putting him in the bathroom after failing his test was probably going to be his original "cell" until he got clever and broke out (quite quickly, i might add) that was probably going to be where he sat for six months while they prepared their "final tests" of Saw III and IV. he broke out, and after losing his fight with amanda, was probably moved to his proper cell to await his final test.

Being in the bathroom wasn't a test, it was a punishment.

Yes! I would like to see a scene in Saw V or even Saw VI where Morgan is interrogated by police about her trap. She can explain what she had to do to survive and how she felt while completing her task. (Remember that crazy look in her eye once she got the hang of it? She was feeling what John wanted her to feel!) Then she can segway into how the game changed her life.

Sorry but no, i dont want a change from the Saw-esque endinds we have seen before. For me thats like removing other traits like the surprise twists and the insignifiant characters and their traps. The tape recorders and the flashbacks. All these things make Saw that great, INCLUDING the "fuck-you" endings.

Adam being left in that bathroom squealing like a little girl was a brilliant ending. and if a character comes along like that regardless of how much i like them, as long as their outcome is relevent to the twist, and usually a good twist then keep 'em coming!

I think Rigg should have figured it out. He knows how Jigsaw works and he had so many clues telling him to go back home.

I wouldn't mind... that after the credits of Saw VI, it shows Jeff from Saw 1... or maybe even Morgan, living on in a happier way. I'd rather Morgan, as it could show her remarried or something.

It isn't very Saw-like... but if gives you a good feeling to leave the theater with.

cant see a Saw filck ending happily. Just wouldnt fit IMO.
No white picket fences or long walks on the beach...
The happiest ending i can envision for the series, is John getting the last laugh. (after he's dead and buried)

Oh, and everyone dying would be a plus. Especially Morgan, who didnt deserve to pass her test. IMO, she failed when she said "IMMMMMM SORRRRRYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!"
